Howard Coble: Unrepentant and Seeking Reelection
In an interview last month, Congressman Coble finally poked his head out of that turtle shell he’d encased himself in and commented on the public outcry he stirred up last year after justifiying the Japanese internment during WWII, reasoning that at the time, they had posed a serious national security risk.
Presumabley you would think after getting over 10,000 petition signatures demanding his removal from his subcommittee and scores of his own peers in Congress similarly demanding his removal, that mayyyyyybe he would have caught on and sniffed a whiff of the crap coming out of him.
Nope! People who were pissed off were just being politically correct
“In retrospect,” Coble said, “I probably should have kept my trap shut in this era of political correctness.”
*And* he’s seeking reelection.
