My week in Geekdom
A brief recap on journey into tech love:
– The yellow_world message board is basically finished. I found an awesome free message board from ikonboard, and believe me, I shopped around. I even tried installing phpBB, just to see what all the craze was over everything php…but it sucked. Nor was I too impressed by B2, which Id had high hopes for, based on the suggestions of others. This may sound superficial, but the front end of B2 feels very Apple-ish — looks cool but you wonder about whats going on under the hood, especially when a shit-load of features arent readily available.
– I still have to write up a guestbook for this site…I wanted to incorporate one into the main page, kind of like how Tag-Board does it (only without their link and in PHP).
– I definitely need to put a little time in the design of this page. Starting to look/feel stale…only, I think Im beginning to lose my drive to design!design!design…
I need a job!job!job!
