Mark poon: man…i feel like…like we gotta act NOW

Mark poon: we can’t just complain and do nothing, we gotta organize, and now is a better time then ever
Achtungbaby74: for what?
Mark poon: about asian americans…about how we’re perceived. about how little representation there are in both politics and the media and how this leads to scapegoating, racism, etc…today man..today, is the one year aniversary of the US/china spyplane stand off do you remember that time?
Achtungbaby74: yep
Mark poon: the time when sorry ass motherfucks thought that we were all traitors to this country. well its about damn well time that we get some REAL representation. u kno, i heard the activist guy, micheal moore, give a speech. and he’s right…there ain’t a better time then now
Achtungbaby74: yeah…asians need some better representation…
Mark poon: we gotta organize and unite..thats the only way…for accurate representations in the media…something thats long been overdue

Mark poon: i can’t believe all the “subtle” racism thats in the media. i wrote a speech last year that i read to my whole entire high school..
Mark poon: i alone…but if i got at least one kid thinking, u kno, i think i got through

Mark poon: the representations of asian males *the few there are* are such bullshit characatures. i’m not saying that the media should only show asian guys with white girls or anything but at least, AT LEAST, give us equal representation, instead of trying to portray us as the most undesirable males there are on the planet while portraying our fellow sisters as nothing but sex objects
Achtungbaby74: i agree. there will come a point when we just need to take the media over.
Mark poon: now is the time man..now! too many AA’s just sit back and do nothing. its that kinda attitude that gets us nowhere
Mark poon: its about damn well time that asian guys get their “masculinity” back
